Delivery & Returns

 

1. UK Delivery

For all UK orders over £100 we dispatch your order, free of charge, using Royal Mail™ Tracked24 Service. . If ordered before 3pm, this is expected to arrive the next business day but is not guaranteed. For guaranteed next day deliver, please upgrade your delivery to Royal Mail Special Delivery which will guarantee delivery the next working day by 1pm. If you would prefer a courier to deliver your items, please contact us.

For all orders under £100 we dispatch your order, free of charge, using Royal Mail™ Tracked48 Service. If ordered before 3pm, this is expected to arrive within 2 business days but is not guaranteed. For guaranteed next day deliver, please upgrade your delivery to Royal Mail Special Delivery which will guarantee delivery the next working day by 1pm. If you would prefer a courier to deliver your items, please contact us.

If preferred, you can collect your order from one of our stores, usually within two working days, if ordered before 3pm. However, this is not guaranteed, please upgrade to a guaranteed delivery option, if you require it by a certain time. Items will be kept for 14 working days before being returned and refunded.

Every order is packaged carefully by one of our customer service representatives and usually dispatched on the same day, or next working day. You will receive an e-mail notification of dispatch, that will include your unique tracking number. With this number you can track your order straight to your front door. If, in the unlikely event, there is a delay on your order, we will contact you as soon as possible, to advise on the expected timeframe. 

If you are not in to receive your parcel, it may be delivered to the nominated Safe Place* you requested during checkout. If you did not nominate a Safe Place*, you will receive a “While you were out” card through your letterbox that will include instructions to reschedule delivery or advice on where to collect your parcel. Alternatively, if you know you are not going to be home to accept your delivery, we suggest having your order delivered to an alternative address, such as your work place.

*Safe Place – If you have requested that your order is delivered to a Safe Place, this is entirely at your own risk. Eye Academy accept no liability for any lost or damaged orders that have been delivered to the nominated Safe Place or alternative address where you cannot, directly accept your delivery. Please make sure this Safe Place or alternative address is secure before requesting your delivery.

2. International Delivery

For international Delivery, we will dispatch you order using Royal Mail International Delivery. Not all international countries are eligible for tracked delivery. For a list of countries please click here. If your country does not allow a tracked service, but you require a tracking number, please Contact Us, and we can arrange alternative delivery options (these may incur additional costs).

3. Import Duty & Taxes

In a majority of cases, import duties and taxes are not applied when you receive your parcel. Please note that some customers may be charged for some deliveries. Eye Academy have no control over these charges as customs and import policies vary from country to country. If you require any more information related to import duty and customs charges, please contact your local customs office. 

 

4. UK Returns

In addition to your legal rights, we offer a 14-day return policy. If you change your mind, please return your product within 14 days for a refund. This policy applies to all sunglasses returned unworn and with all packaging in its original condition.

We offer a complimentary returns procedure for all UK orders. This is limited to one complimentary return per order. Any further returns or exchanges are at the customers expense.

If you choose not to contact Eye Academy before returning an item, we will not accept the item and will return to you, the cost of which will be deducted from any subsequent refunds. Please note that you may be responsible for the return postage. To ensure a refund, we recommend that you use a tracked delivery service. The customer is responsible for ensuring returned items are packed appropriately such that they are not damaged during transit. Eye Academy will not issue refunds for items not received or damaged during transit due to inadequate packaging.

Unless otherwise specified, all returns must still have the Void sticker intact. If removed and returned, no refund will be issued and it will be the customers expense to have the item returned to them. If the sunglass is retuned in the original condition with the void sticker removed, we may offer an exchange, however, this is not guaranteed and would be considered on an individual basis, and may incur additional costs.

Please allow 7 working days for the return to reach us, once received we will then contact you with your refund or exchange confirmation.

3. Import Duty & Taxes
